Dr. Avijeet Gautam Institute of Technical Education (AGITE)
we offer a range of healthcare and technical programs designed to shape skilled, confident, and compassionate professionals. From ANM Nursing to B.Sc Nursing
What AGITE claims / What the site says
-
AGITE presents itself as a “nursing & technical education” institute in Jharkhand under the umbrella of Right Path Foundation / “Gautam Group”. agite.in+2agite.in+2
-
Their listed courses include nursing-related programs (ANM, B.Sc Nursing, etc.) and pharmacy courses (D.Pharm, B.Pharm) per their website. agite.in+2agitepharmacy.in+2
-
The institute’s stated address: “GT Road, Near HP Gas Plant, Konra, Barhi, Jharkhand 825405.” agite.in+1
-
On at least one external college-listing site, AGITE is described as “approved by” the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Shiksha+1
-
According to AGITE’s own blog/“About” page, they claim affiliation or recognition under relevant nursing and pharmacy regulatory frameworks. agite.in+1
In short: AGITE positions itself as a private institute offering nursing and pharmacy (and allied healthcare) courses in Jharkhand, with a declared campus and some claims of regulatory approval.
What to check / What raises questions / What is unclear
-
While some external sources list AGITE with a PCI-approval mark (for pharmacy courses), I could not independently confirm public, up-to-date affiliation status under the national nursing regulatory body (for nursing courses), or find solid government-side documentation verifying all their claims.
-
In a publicly available list of “approved nursing colleges” for the state (as of 2025), I did not see AGITE’s name. college4.in+1
-
On their own website, the language is marketing-heavy (e.g. “best nursing college in Jharkhand”, “50+ hospital network”, “5k+ placements”) — such claims are common, but they require independent verification, especially when there is limited third-party documentation. agite.in+1
-
The external listing on a site offering courses shows only a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) seat-intake of 60. That suggests the institute may be more established (or at least more publicly documented) for pharmacy than for nursing. Shiksha+1
What you should do (if you are evaluating for admissions / application)
If you are considering joining AGITE (or advising someone), here are prudent steps:
-
Check official approvals/affiliations: Ask AGITE for proof of their recognition from relevant bodies: for pharmacy — PCI; for nursing — see if they have recognition from the relevant state nursing council or national regulatory body.
-
Visit the campus physically: Go to the address in Barhi/Hazaribagh (GT Road, near HP Gas Plant, Konra) to inspect infrastructure: labs, clinical training facilities, library, classrooms, hostel, etc.
-
Ask for records of past students — especially those who completed courses and got placements: talk to alumni, check placement letters, hospital affiliations, etc.
-
Compare with better-documented institutes: In Jharkhand there are several nursing/pharmacy colleges whose regulatory status and affiliations are well known (for example on lists published by regulatory bodies). Before finalising, compare these known colleges with AGITE on transparency, approval, and track‐record.
-
Seek external references: Try to find independent reviews, social-media feedback, or third-party listings (beyond AGITE’s own website) to verify claims about placements, hospital network, infrastructure, etc.
My View: Approach with Cautious Optimism and Verification
AGITE might be a legitimate private institute offering pharmacy (and possibly nursing) courses — there are some external listings claiming PCI approval. But I did not find robust, independent, public documentation verifying all claims made on their website (especially in nursing).
